Smart Find
With the new “Smart Find” feature, you can centrally search for documents and master data in advanter across all areas – without switching to the respective module. You can easily access the search from anywhere using a keyboard shortcut.
Whether quotes, orders, invoices, items, customer data, users, or help content: the required information is instantly available.
This significantly reduces search and processing times and ensures greater efficiency in everyday work.
Generative AI support
The generative AI support in advanter 7.3 enables a wide range of intelligent features designed to increase efficiency in daily work. These include voice input with automatic transcription (speech-to-text), as well as translation and intelligent text enhancement, including gender-sensitive language adaptation.
In the CRM area, the AI supports the optimization of meeting notes and the automatic generation of header and footer texts for documents.
In addition, it can be used to create and optimize product and item descriptions, for example.
AI-powered image processing
With AI-powered image processing, you can optimize the creation and editing of visual data in your daily work.
This includes the automatic generation of preview images as well as semantic image analysis based on modern embedding technologies.
In addition, production completion confirmations can be supported through visual similarity recognition, for example by using a simple photo taken with a mobile device. The solution also enables efficient image retrieval through search queries across existing or past productions.
Intelligent document recognition
Another key focus is intelligent document processing. This includes AI-powered document recognition, OCR-based processing of incoming invoices, as well as the automatic detection and extraction of relevant document data.
In addition, the solution enables comprehensive AI-driven analysis of document content, making information available faster and easier to evaluate.
AI – flexible and local
Flexible AI integration supports connection to leading AI platforms and enables seamless use of modern large language models. This includes, among others, OpenAI with ChatGPT, Anthropic with Claude, Cohere, and Google with Gemini. It is further complemented by additional integration options such as LM Studio and OpenRouter.
For maximum data security, the solution also supports local AI setups. This includes the connection of internal AI systems as well as the use of LM Studio and Claris AI Model Server. This enables GDPR-compliant usage without external cloud services, ensuring that sensitive data can be processed entirely within your own infrastructure.
With advanter 7.3, you can create your invoices easily, securely, and in full legal compliance with the requirements of the EN 16931 standard in ZUGFeRD format.
On the outgoing side, various document types are supported, including commercial invoices, advance and final invoices, as well as invoice corrections and credit notes.
In addition, a new invoice processing workflow is available, enabling the creation, approval, and dispatch of high invoice volumes through a controlled and traceable process. This includes the steps pre-recording, generation, validation, review, and release for dispatch, followed by automatic email delivery.
The digital incoming invoice processing has also been significantly enhanced. Invoices can be automatically imported from email inboxes, read via PDF import from directories and AppServer processes, or manually captured with document assignment.
In addition, format checks and validation of e-invoices are performed, alternatively supported by AI-based OCR analysis for other PDF invoices. Relevant header and line-item data is automatically extracted, address matching is carried out, and retrospective order assignment is enabled.
A new rejection function for incorrect incoming invoices has also been introduced, ensuring even more precise and controlled processing.
Flexi Fields
With FlexiFields, advanter can be flexibly extended with custom additional fields without requiring any changes to the existing database structure.
This allows you to create fields, tables, forms, and views within areas such as quotations or orders, enabling you to tailor the software precisely to your individual processes and requirements.
As a result, a high degree of flexibility is achieved without compromising the system’s ability to be updated or maintained.
SmartPattern enables intelligent material utilization through the optimal placement of different formats on a base material.
It takes various nesting strategies into account, as well as defined margins and motif distances and the possible rotation of individual motifs, in order to optimize material usage as efficiently as possible.
The feature can be used in both quotation and order costing and also supports material variant recommendations. In addition, it enables the consolidation of batch orders to bundle production processes more efficiently.
As a result, SmartPattern provides a precise calculation of material requirements including material costs, as well as an automatic availability check. A PDF is also generated, offering a visual representation of preview images for improved planning and control.
